Job Description
The Communications & Marketing Assistant is instrumental in the continuing growth of Argyle Housing by supporting the Communications & Marketing Manager in implementing the Marketing & Communications strategy, coordinating the preparation of marketing opportunities through supporting colleagues within the business with duties covering event management, coordinating digital communications, and social media.
The successful applicant will have a high level of communication, organisational and time management skills, showing initiative along with an aptitude for creative and innovative thinking.
Communications and Marketing Assistant will work as part of the CEO Team and provide the following services:
Support the CEO, Marketing and Communications Manager and CEO Team to ensure Argyle Housing’s success by contributing to the strategic direction of the organisation
Contribute to the development of the Communications Strategy
Ensure the organisation is effectively and timely communicated to ensure they are ready for new business
Brand Management - Act as a brand guardian on behalf of Argyle Housing, maintain correct logo usage, being an authority of what is on and off brand, and maintain and adhering to brand guidelines both internally and externally
Support the Board and CEO raise the profile and reputation of Argyle Housing by participating in networking events and forums and being an active member of the community housing sector.

Desired Skills and Experience
Degree or Certificate III in Business Administration, Media, Marketing, Public Relations, or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in a marketing and/or communications role
Experience supporting digital marketing activities across social media, website, and email channels
Proven ability to create engaging content for digital platforms, including written, visual, and basic video content
Experience using social media management tools and an understanding of key platforms and trends
Basic understanding of marketing analytics and performance metrics
Basic understanding of website content management systems (CMS)
Experience using design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail
Digital marketing experience preferred
Proven work experience in the Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Google My Business, Twitter, LinkedIn, Microsoft Teams and others.
Website development and Adobe suite experience encouraged
Sensitivity and understanding of cultural and socio-economic characteristics
