Job Description
The Housing Affordability Officer is responsible for delivering consistent, accurate, and timely rent reviews for clients across Argyle Housing’s social and affordable housing programs. The role ensures compliance with relevant rent setting policies, including those for NSW and ACT Community Housing, NRAS, and other affordable housing programs. This position is based in either Bowral or Gregory Hills office locations.
The position plays a key part in ensuring rent is assessed fairly and in accordance with applicable legislation, program requirements, and Argyle Housing’s review schedule. The role supports broader tenancy sustainment by ensuring clients are not overcharged and that income-based rent is accurately maintained throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
The Housing Affordability Officer works closely with internal teams, including Client Support and Rent Solutions, to ensure rent information is clear, up to date, and supports appropriate client engagement strategies.
This position is for a 12 month contract Full Time.
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience in a range of business and office applications and online reporting systems
